Hive

Hive is a project management platform designed to make teams productive. What distinguishes it from an array of similar platforms is that Hive gives each user the freedom to work the way they prefer. To satisfy that need, Hive offers 5 most common views – Gantt, Kanban, Calendar, Table, Summary – that are easily switchable. On top of that, it has built-in analytics for monitoring individual and team performance and individual dashboards for keeping track of assigned tasks. With Hive’s Forms, one can collect and parse different types of data, whereas Templates allow duplicating repeatable tasks in a matter of seconds. To kick it up a notch, Hive also included some automation executed through different buttons triggering a workflow’s completion. Of course, a work productivity platform would not be complete without some robust communication tools. In Hive’s case, it boasts an integrated email, a chat, and the module for assigning and commenting tasks. With over 1000 popular integrations, this SaaS platform allows its users to consolidate all the work that needs to be done in a single place.

We’ve tested a great deal of SaaS products reimagining how we work. We see the value in each of them, and we want great products to reach their audience. What makes these products even greater is continuous investment in quality assurance and testing. Let’s see if Hive has issues that require immediate attending and what can be improved right away.

Hive is a great tool for managing your work in a smart and modern way. I have tested the website’s UI, the core functionality of the admin panel, as well as account creation, including the sign-up with other accounts. Overall, a well-built app; I found only one critical issue concerning password change, which should be addressed immediately to enhance the platform’s security.
