Uptime

1.0

Uptime is an educational app designed to make learning fun, simple, and accessible. In just five minutes, Uptime users can learn a hack, that is, a condensed lesson with actionable insights from a book, documentary, or course.

Uptime covers an abundant selection of topics, mainly for adults – from psychology, mental health, and leadership to entrepreneurship, cryptocurrency, and culture. What distinguishes it from other e-learning apps is that Uptime factored in that people explore things differently. The app allows you to choose from the following learning modes – standalone text, audio lesson, and illustrated story.

Since 2015, QAwerk has tested a plethora of e-learning solutions, and we keep expanding our portfolio with new market entrants, testing their products for free to give them a good start. Uptime boasts a fairly good Google Play ranking, yet it could do even better without the bugs below.

Uptime is a great alternative to social media apps and an effortless way to always stay in the know about an array of essential topics. My favorite feature is that you get to choose how to consume content - through a simple text, audio, or an engaging story. Nevertheless, more attention should be paid to the usability and performance of the application to retain more customers. I discovered several issues with UI and UX, pop-ups, and CTA buttons.
