There you can build your healthy meal plan based on your eating preferences, search for recipes of various dishes (also for vegans and vegetarians), create shopping lists, and even order grocery delivery. All these useful features allow you every day to save time on preparing food and make this process more interesting and simple. Meal Hero is an irreplaceable app for thousands of users, but unfortunately, we found some bugs that can spoil user experience with the app. Check them out in our report!

Nothing happens on the ‘Create an account’ screen after tapping the ‘Show’ button

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Launch the app.
  2. Open the ‘Create an account’ screen.
  3. Enter any valid password into the ‘Password’ field.
  4. Tap the ‘Show’ button.
  5. Look at the screen.

Environment:

iPhone 6, iOS 11.3.1

Actual result:

Nothing happens on the ‘Create an account’ screen after tapping the ‘Show’ button.

Expected result:

The entered password is displayed.


The field is available for editing on the ‘Create an account’ screen after tapping the ‘Create Account’ button

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Launch the app.
  2. Open the ‘Create an account’ screen.
  3. Fill in all necessary fields with valid parameters.
  4. Tap the ‘Create Account’ button.
  5. Tap any other field (e.g. email).
  6. Enter any symbols while loading spinner is displayed.

Environment:

iPhone 6, iOS 11.3.1

Actual result:

The field is available for editing on the ‘Create an account’ screen after tapping the ‘Create Account’ button.

Expected result:

The field is not available for editing.

Note:

The keyboard is opened after logging in.


The cursor is displayed outside the ‘Search’ field after entering text

  2. Log in.
  3. Open the ‘Search’ screen.
  4. Enter any text into the ‘Search’ field.
  5. Look at the cursor.

Environment:

iPhone 6, iOS 11.3.1

Actual result:

The cursor is displayed beyond the borders of the ‘Search’ field after entering text.

Expected result:

The cursor is displayed within the field.


The ‘Save changes’ button is inactive on the ‘Profile. Account’ screen after entering new email into the ‘Email’ field

  2. Log in.
  3. Open the ‘Profile. Account’ screen.
  4. Enter new email into the ‘Email’ field.
  5. Tap the ‘Save changes’ button.
  6. Look at the button.

Actual result:

The ‘Save changes’ button is inactive on the ‘Profile. Account’ screen after entering a new email into the ‘Email’ field.

Expected result:

The ‘Save changes’ button is active, or the ‘Email’ field is not editable.


The ‘Update was successful’ pop-up is displayed on the ‘Profile. Account’ screen after entering the current password and tapping ‘Save changes’ button

  4. Enter any password to the ‘Current password’ field.
  5. Leave the ‘New Password’ field empty.
  6. Tap the ‘Save changes’ button.
  7. Look at the screen.

Actual result:

The ‘Update was successful’ pop-up is displayed.

Expected result:

The error message is displayed. Changes are not saved.
