Even though Roomster provides such great services and totals more than one million downloads, it has an average rating. Therefore, this week QAwerk team decided to check its quality and performed exploratory bug testing of this app. Take a look at the errors we found in the report below!

The error message is displayed after tapping the Send message button

Pre-condition:
  1. The app is launched.
  2. The Enter Verification Code screen is opened.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Tap the Contact 24/7 Support button.
  2. Type some text in the text field.
  3. Tap the Send message button.
  4. Take a look at the result.

Environment:

Samsung A6, Android 8.0

Actual result:

The error message is displayed after tapping the Send message button.

Expected result:

The message is sent successfully.

The user is moved to the top of the screen after changing the value on the slider

  1. The user is registered.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Select the People option.
  2. Tap the I’m offering a room section.
  3. Tap the More button.
  4. Scroll down the screen.
  5. Move the Household Age slider.
  6. Take a look at the result.
  7. Scroll down the page once more.
  8. Move the Age slider.
  9. Take a look at the result.

The user is moved to the top of the screen after changing the value on the slider.

The Delete account button is shifted down after selecting Russian localization on the App Settings screen

Pre-condition:

The user is authorized.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Tap the Settings icon in the top left corner.
  2. Tap the App Settings.
  3. Tap the Language drop-down.
  4. Select Russian localization.
  5. Pay attention to the Delete account button.

Environment:

Samsung A6, Android 8.0

Actual result:

The Delete account button is shifted down after selecting Russian localization.

Expected result:

The button is displayed correctly.

The error is displayed when authorizing via Google account

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Launch the app.
  2. Tap the Google icon from the authorization suggestions list.
  3. Take a look at the result.
